Adult Education

This page, like the effort of this PLN, is a work-in-progress (really, we've only been at it for less than a week) and so, there is much we'll be adding in in the weeks and months to come. With that said, I present a brief example of the importance of adult education featuring some guy standing at the President's podium (I have no idea who the clown is):

*a-hem*

I'll confess, I'm a huge fan of the work of Malcolm Knowles, so I won't pretend to be unbiased, here. Unfortunately, I have a project due tomorrow and don't really have time to weigh in with my own thoughts on adult education (if you want real substance, check out the pages Mikki has composed as well as Karla's excellent posts). Thus, with my pending assignment breathing down my neck, I present the work of others that, IMHO, do a pretty good job of providing a boilerplate explanation of adult learning theory:

As I said, I'll return to flesh this out with my own thoughts (or someone will provide better thoughts than my own). Until then, the page has been filled...
